Description: 

Tall spikes of flowers, bottoms yellow changing to orange and red at the top. Grass-like leaves. Needs good drainage.

My Experience: 

I was given 3 clumps in October 2009 and planted them in the perennial bed. They bloomed in spring and then the foliage started to take over. I transplanted one to the berm in autumn 2010 and then moved it to the property line in autumn 2012 because it was spreading too much. Somehow they also got into my cutting garden.
