Description: 

Two to three leaves per pseudobulb. Blooms in autumn and winter, fragrant, waxy, long-lasting, to 4" diameter.

From Bot. Mag.: Similar as the general appearance of this beautiful plant is to Laelia anceps (Botanical Register, tab. 1751) : it is nevertheless abundantly distinct, in its pseudo-bulbs, scapes, and flowers, as well as in its agreeable perfume.
