Description: 

Purple foliage with some changing to green. Bright pink flowers. Reliable spring and autumn bloomer for me. Not as upright as Loropetalum chinense var. rubrum 'Hines Purple Leaf' (Pizzazz™ Plum Delight™).

My Experience: 

I purchased 3 1-gallon plants in September 2008 and potted them up before planting in summer 2009. I used 2 on the left property line and one to anchor the outside corner of the pool fence. I selected that one because it was more upright and I was hoping to limb it up and tree form it. The plants along the property line did well despite getting little water. In late spring 2010 I relocated them to hide the pool equipment in the 'Wild Or Wacky' garden. They transplanted very easily.
