Description: 

Pointed arrow-head-shaped leaf on stalk. Found in shallow water or on banks. Inflorescence has a yellow spathe and white hood in spring.

History: 

Published in Mem. Torrey Bot. Club 5: 102 in 1894 (as sagittaefolia).

Basionym Calla sagittifolia Michx.

Native to the southeastern US, from North Carolina to Florida and Alabama.
