Description: 

Flowers white, sepals spread out. Lip has 3 lobes, much smaller than the sepals. Flower stem to 40" long Leaves fleshy and purplish below.

Published in Hamburger Garten- Blumenzeitung 18: 35 in 1862.

Native to the Philippines and Taiwan.

Starting point for white hybrids along with Phalaenopsis amabilis.
