Description: 

Glossy green foliage and white, bell-shaped flowers in drooping panicles in late winter to early spring. Dense habit. Requires well-drained soil. Blooms on previous season's growth. Cut off spent flowers to discourage fruiting which may reduce blooms next year.

Native to Japan, China and Taiwan. Cultivated since 1870.
