Description: 

Broad, conical habit. Leaves to 7" long, cones to 4" long.

History: 

Native to Cyprus, Turkey, the Ukraine and southeastern Europe. Introduced in 1798.

Basionym is Pinus pallasiana Lamb. - published in Desc. Pinus.
