Description: 

Cream flowers, spoon-shaped. Green leaves with red edges and mid-rib. Corky bark.

History: 

Published in Bothalia 7: 61 in 1958.

Native to South Africa, Barberton region, and also Swaziland. Named for R.H.Compton, Director of the National Botanical Gardens of South Africa.
