Description:

Large yellow daisy-like flowers with a green center which turns to black eventually. Flowers to 5" diameter. Supposedly blooms from late summer to autumn but here in SC it has bloomed continually from spring.

History:

2011 Georgia Gold Medal Plant.

My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon plant from Laymans in September 2010 and planted it in the berm. It bloomed in April 2011 and throughout summer. It grew tall enough that it started to flop a little. In the heat of summer it started to brown out but after cutting out all the brown it revived a little in late September. It did not return in 2012.
