Description: 

Bright gold new foliage in spring, maturing to chartreuse green. Tall spikes of yellow flowers in late spring. Prefers moist soil.

History: 

Seedling from a plant in Cherokee County, Texas, discovered by Greg Grant, plantsman. (PDN)

My Experience: 

I purchased a 4" pot from Plant Delights in June 2012 and planted it in the Big Trees and Birds garden. It did not do very much the first year.
