Prostrate. Small cream to white flowers. Delicate, dissected, tubular foliage.

Leaves 2 1/2 to 4 inches long, both simple and 3-fid, smooth. Heads scarcely panicled. Bractes suborbicular with a sharp point, smooth. Limb of the Petals broad. (Cult. Prot.)

History: 

Published in Cult. Prot. 84 in 1809. A decumbent species, discovered by Mr. F. Masson...

Native to South Africa.
