Protea with doubly-winged leaves, thread-shaped, and smooth: flowers terminate the branches in umbels: footstalks are long, with large reflexed floral leaves: blossom flesh-coloured, and hairy on the outer side. (Bot. Repos. - Protea abrotantifolia)

History: 

Published in Trans. Linn. Soc. London 10: 122 in 1810.

Synonym of Serruria aemula Salisb. ex Knight. - African Plant Database.

ProteaWorldOnline shows it as a separate species with synonyms: Protea abrotanifolia Andrews, Protea abrotanifolia var. odorata Andrews. However they list Protea abrotanifolia Andrews as a synonym of Serruria phylicoides (P.J.Bergius) R.Br. also.
