Description: 

Leaves 1 to 1 1/2 inch long, 2-pinnatifid from below their middle, smooth. Heads 1 to 3, clustered, lower than the leaves. Bractes cottony, especially the upper ones. (Cult. Prot.)

History: 

Published in Cult. Prot. 88 in 1809. A small bush, common in the sandy plains of Zwartland, but in no collection here to my knowledge, except that at Kew, where it flowered in 1896...

Unresolved in PlantList and no further information found. Shown as unaccounted for in Bothalia vols. 20-21 p. 201.
