Description: 

Needle-like foliage. Pink and white fluffy flowerheads.

Stem decumbent. Leaves 1 1/2 to 2 inches long, simple and a very few 3-fid from above their middle, glossy. Head of flowers roundish, 1 to 3, shorter than the peduncle. Anthers obtusely mucronated. (Cult. Prot.)

Published in Cult. Prot. 82 in 1809. ...Mr. J. Niven discovered it...

Native to South Africa.
