Description: 

Blue flowers in spring, 6 blue tepals and a yellow eye. Leaves are grass-like. Tolerates a range of soils but prefers well-drained soil. Will self-seed in good growing conditions. Sheer after blooming to tidy foliage and prevent seeding.

Native to the eastern and central US, Canada and Mexico.
