Description: 

Large soft felty leaves, silver grey. Flowers on spikes, pink to purple - rarely flowers. Well-drained soil. Deer and rabbit resistant.

History: 

Named for the Countess von Zeppelin (Helene von Stein). Also available as 'Big Ears'.

My Experience: 

I purchased a 4" pot from Santa Rosa in March 2012 and planted it in the Front Foundation Hedge. It has quickly grown into a neat and tidy clump 2' tall and wide.
