History: 

From Mississippi gardener Peachie Saxon - occurred as a seedling in her garden.

My Experience: 

I purchased a 4" pot from Santa Rosa in September 2010 and planted it in the perennial bed. It produced flowers in late spring and then was virtually dormant through the summer.
