Other: Gymnosperm. Name means like a Yew, Taxus is Latin for Yew and 'odium' comes from the Greek 'eidos' meaning 'similar to' (from a similarity of leaf shape - Stearn). Type T. distichum (L.) Rich. Also placed in Cupressaceae.
