My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon plant from Nurseries Caroliniana in April 2010 and planted it in the Golf Course Hedge. It suffered in the first winter and has struggled ever since, never looking as good as it did the first year. I moved it to the Octagonal Perennial Garden for better drainage but a deer stepped on it and broke the trunk. I purchased a new one at Nurseries Caroliniana in spring 2013 and planted it in the same spot.
