Originated from a cross-pollination in July 1998 between a V. longifolia and V. spicata selection seed parent and a V. spicata x V. longifolia selection pollen parent. New plant noted in summer 2000 as a single flowering plant. Jan Verschoor, Haarlem, the Netherlands. (From Patent Application).

My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon plant from Laymans in July 2010 and planted it in the perennial garden. It was the first Veronica to bloom in spring 2011, starting in early May. It did not perform well in 2012 and did not reappear in 2014.
