Description: 

Needle-like juvenile leaves in spirals, adult leaves scale-like, dark green. Brown to gray bark with thin vertical fissures, flaking, reddish underneath.

History: 

Published in J. S. African Bot. 38: 303 in 1972.

Native to South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Basionym Brunia nodiflora L.
