Description: 

Evergreen perennial. Leaves are linear, to 3' long and 1" wide, basal, forming a rosette. The margins have long threads or filaments. Tall flower spike, to 12' tall, numerous flowers, nodding, white, 2" long.

Native to the eastern US from Maryland to Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi.
