My Experience:

I purchased a 4" pot from the Jackson and Perkins outlet in October 2009 and overwintered it in the conservatory. I planted it by the pool lawn in spring 2010. It did not bloom but had interesting winter color. In summer 2011 I separated the two plants and put one in the 'Turret Front Garden' and one in the 'Front Foundation Hedge'. I moved them again in spring 2013 to the Octagonal Perennial Garden and the One Of Everything Garden.
