Description: 

Green, lance-shaped leaves to 3' long, pointed tips, not stiff. Flower spikes with white to cream hanging flowers in summer. Well-drained soil.

Adam's Needle, with numerous flowers, branching and spreading : blossoms bell-shaped, and hanging down. Leaves sword-shaped and plaited : with a mucronated point. (Bot. Repos.)
